The Groom should be in black
full dress (tailcoat) with white wing collar pique with formal shirt, white
pique vest and bow. May ear sprig from the bride’s bouquet as boutonniere.
Shoes:Black.
Ushers and Junior groomsmen to be identical to the groom, with different
boutonniere. Fathers also identical to the groom, with different boutonniere.
Guests may wear tuxedos, or if you specify "White Tie" on invitations
guest should wear full dress identical to groom. Ring Bearer to be identical
to groom/groomsmen.
Formal Evening The
groom shall be adorned in black tuxedo with white pleated formal shirt.
The bow tie, vest or cummerbund should match tuxedo lapels. Another option
is for the groom to wear a white dinner jacket with formal trousers for
summer or tropical climate. Ushers and Junior Groomsmen to be the same as
groom, perhaps with different boutonniere. Fathers to follow the ushers
in apparel and finally the guests should be formally dressed. Specify "Black
Tie" on invitations. Ring Bearer to be identical to groom/groomsmen.
Very Formal - Daytime The
groom to have a cutaway coat, grey striped trousers, grey vest, ascot, or
striped four-in-hand tie. Optional extras are top hat, spats, grey gloves.
Shoes: Patent.
Ushers and Junior Groomsmen are to be similar to groom in style, with possible
variation in tie or shirt. Fathers can be the same as groom or same as ushers.
Guests you may suggest "Traditional Morning Attire" on invitations,
if you would like your guests to be formally dressed. They would then choose
formalwear similar to the groom’s. Ring Bearer identical to groom/groomsmen.
Semi Formal - Daytime Groom
to wear a grey stroller, with striped trousers, pearl grey vest, four-in-hand
tie with white pleated formal shirt. Optional they can include homburg gloves.
Ushers and Junior Groomsmen to be identical to groom perhaps with different
boutonniere. Fathers to be same as groom, or same as ushers. Guests formalwear
is optional and the Ring Bearer identical to groom/groomsmen.
