Half Windsor Knot
The Half Windsor Knot, a more modest version of the Windsor Knot, is a symmetrical and triangular tie knot that you can use with any dress shirt. It works best with somewhat wider ties made from light to medium fabrics and would be give a different look if you were dressing for a formal occasion.

To tie the Half Windsor Knot, select a tie of your choice and stand in front of a mirror. Then simply follow the steps below:

step1 Step 1.

The wide end "A" should extend about 12 inches below narrow end "B". Cross wide end "A" over narrow end "B".
step1 Step 2.

Bring wide end "A" up around and behind narrow end "B".
step1 Step 3.

Bring wide end "A" up.
step1 Step 4.

Pull wide end "A" up and through the loop.
step1 Step 5.

Bring wide end "A" around front, over narrow end "B" from left to right.
step1 Step 6.

Again, bring wide end "A" up and through the loop.
step1 Step 7.

Bring wide end "A" down through the knot in front.
step1 Step 8.

Using both hands, tighten the knot carefully and draw up to collar.
